Our original restaurant The Old Olive Tree Restaurant was opened on Long Island, New York, in 1980 by Aspasia and Ilias. It was the first Greek restaurant on the south shore of Long Island.

The Olive Tree Greek Grill, as we know it today, has been located at The Avenue Viera since 2014. Because of the restaurant’s amazing and loyal customers, we are able to build a new, free-standing location in Borrows West Viera!

1980
The
Beginning
The Old Olive Tree Restaurant was opened on Long Island, New York, in 1980 by Aspasia and Ilias. Michael worked in the restaurant and learned how to run the business and create amazing, authentic dishes from the family recipes.
1987
The Next Generation
Ready to retire, Aspasia and Ilias turned over the ownership and operation of The Old Olive Tree Restaurant to Michael in 1987.
1998
Michael met his wife who has worked in the restaurant ever since. The restaurant continued to thrive and grow under their leadership for decades until they decided to relocate to the Space Coast of Florida.
2014
Viera
Location
Opens

Securing their spot at The Avenue Viera in 2013. They had the vision to create a fast-casual environment for Greek food with a refined, tasteful design. After gutting the location to just four walls, they worked for almost 6 months to renovate the space. The location opened in April of 2014 and is still in operation today.

Now Open
New
Location

Having grown the business on the Space Coast, the time was right to begin thinking about expanding. After much consideration, they decided to build a new, larger, free-standing location in Borrows West Viera on Lake Andrew Drive. We can’t wait to welcome you!
